I had my big toe toenail removed 6 years ago, but the root wasn't killed. I have been to 7 doctors now, and they all tell me it is not toenail, but neuropathy. Dr. Truscello could see toenail growing through the skin and removed some of it. It needs to be deadened for him to work on, so I have an appointment in several weeks for him to work on my toe. I feel like I finally have a doctor who cares and is going to take care of the problem. One dr? wanted to amputate the end of my big toe to correct the problem. She charged the insurance $11,000 to remove a little sliver of toenail and was so rude and hateful. Glaad Dr. Truscello's office is not like that.

I love Dr. Palmer! He is very personable and friendly. Each time I came to see him, I felt like he genuinely cared about ME as an individual. He was very attentive and took time listening to my observations and concerns. He offered his knowledge and suggestions, yet left the decision completely up to me without sending any kind of guilt message for doing so. I did not feel any pressure to have a procedure or surgery nor did he give the impression that I was wasting his time (sadly, I cannot say this of some other physicians I have seen in the past). I highly recommend Dr. Palmer - he not only has the expertise but a great personality as well.

Dr Tori was awesome. It's just a shame the staff is such a horrible experience. I ordered shoes, and was never called that they were in. They do not fit well, but they were more concerned in having me just sign off on them. I still have no idea how to pay my bill. The office manager is full of excuses, not sure if any solutions. And then proceeded to tell the employee, while I am standing there my grievances with her. An employee who has access to all my information, I find that very unprofessional. Save yourself a trip, and find somewhere else. Such a shame , since it seems the providers are well liked.

This review is ONLY in relation to ordering custom Aerodyne walking shoes from this practice. I recommend you do not order shoes from here. My walking shoes cost $130 total, half down when ordered. They are manufactured overseas, and it takes 4 - 6 weeks to get them. Two thorny issues with this purchase: I was told they would call me when they arrived into the office. Neither for the initial pair I ordered, nor for the re-order did anyone contact me. It took 5 weeks to receive the initial order, and 3 weeks for the reorder. For the money spent, I thought that someone would call me and say the shoes were ready for pickup. I had to call in several times to check up on both orders. Secondly, the manufacturer will recommend that you take them home and walk around inside to see if the shoes fit. If they don't, you may re-order once with no charge, but you can never say that the shoes do not work for you and that you want your money back. BIG MISTAKE! Never order shoes without being able to try them on the first time. Never order shoes that are non-refundable. I learned my lesson the hard way. I don't recommend buying custom shoes from this practice. If there is no ability to try on shoes to determine whether they are for you, don't waste your money.

Dr Droll is very knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to answer all your questions and explain things without rushing through your appointment.

A pleasant surprise! I made this appointment because, as a diabetic, my primary care provider told me I had to have my feet checked once a year. Since I've lost fifty pounds and my diabetes was under control, I expected a quick uneventful appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my insurance now annually provides me with a free pair of diabetic shoes. I picked a stylish tennis shoe. Also, Dr. Palmer asked about my calluses. They were indeed painful but I didn't think they were associated with diabetes. It didn't matter. They were covered! Dr. Palmer explained that they were due to blocked sweat glands. He trimmed them and told me that if they bothered me again to return and he'd trim them again. He also informed me that I now qualified for three free custom inserts each year because of my callus issue! Sweet! Before I left, the nurse had me step into a box of soft material to get a molding of my feet! What I expected to be uneventful actually was quite beneficial! Dr. Palmer was cheerful, personable, energetic and quick! (The kind of doctor you WANT to have!) Thank you, Dr. Palmer! I'll be back next year!

I would like to rate this experience with Bridges a zero. I waited over an hour. Her bedside manner and presentation was cold and condescending. It wasn’t worth the wait. I asked for my toenails to be trimmed and it was crudely and carelessly done. I have to pay to get them filed and even. I felt like she didn’t want to be bothered with me. Her attitude matched the appearance of the disgusting room with waste exposed in the garbage can. Please cancel my 11/15 appointment. I never want to return. I would like to know the results of the sample of my toe nail. We were packed in that little waiting room with no space between patients. Disgusting environment and provider.

I’ve been waiting since August 5, 2024 for a set of insoles. I and my insurance company have laid out a ton of money for my visits and so far, nothing has changed. The first time I questioned this, I was told that my PCP was holding it up. Just so happens that I had an appointment with him a few days later and when I told him that, he was infuriated. He showed me his computer dating back to August 1, 2024. The only entry from the foot care people was for a subsequent visit and he received it at 10am and filled it out and sent it back by 3pm the same day. On my most recent visit, I told the foot care staff that and they claimed that he didn’t take the time to read it thoroughly and filled it out incorrectly. She also said that the original order (8/5/2024 left her office on 10/11/2024?!?!). Over 2 months since the impressions were made. The 10/15 visit was for a trim of my toenails which left me with two nicked toes. Having said all this, I will say that Dr. Palmer is aces! I don’t envy his having to deal with the staff.

This was not my first time to see Dr. Smith. He is such a caring and personable doctor and listens to his patients. Even after several years, he still remembered who I was and my family. I had been having awful foot pain to the point I could hardly stand to get up to walk. It had been going on for some time and I decided to go see a Dr. Got appoint and Dr palmer was so good and took his time checking out my foot. Turns out it wasn't even the foot causing problem but the side of my ankle. needless to say but I just about healed. I can get up out of bed or chair and put my foot all the way down like you should. I would highly recommend Gateway Foot & Ankle if you are having problems.

Did a great job explaining the upcoming surgery by going over xrays, foot anatomy and function, and having knowledge of medicine within the Army.

Went in for fungus problem. The doctor said would be better to remove the toenail. I been have trouble with it a long time. It’s pretty thick toenail, he gave me the option of remove the toenail and properly come thick again or he could kill the root and skin would grow over it. It’s been super sensitive for years, so I opted for the permanent removal. Since I am 73, going on 74. Now it’s healing and not sensitive like it used to be, and no fungus problem now

I’ve been coming here for about a year now, being treated by Dr. Palmer. I must say that he’s such a great Dr., and a person. He’s very professional, yet has a very humbling personality. He’s always treated me with respect and advised me of my issues , along with the pros and cons of his recommendations. He listens to me each and every time during my appointments with him, and has always gone over and beyond to assist me. He performed a surgery on me to correct another surgeon’s mishap from 17 years ago, which originated from an injury sustained while serving in the USMC. I actually recovered faster than expected, and the surgery was with minimal pain, which was a great thing! I would highly recommend him to anyone who asks; without hesitation.

Dr Palmer was so gentle with my sore toe. I have diabetes and neuropathy in my feet and somehow badly bruised my big toe. He looked it over and told me nothing was broken but it would take a while to heal. He explained everything to me. I always saw Dr Smith in the past and he was great but I thought a new doctor needed patients of his own to start. The whole staff here are great!!!

Dr. Smith is amazing. He is extremely personable and very patient centric. He wants what is best for every patient and is willing to take the time to go through all possibilities and options to ensure his patient can make the most informed decision for their medical treatment. The only downfall to Dr. Smith's amazing care is that there is always a long wait and you typically have to wait 30-60 minutes after your appointment time to be called back for your visit. I have been in Dr. Smith's care for about 5 years now and I am incredibly thankful that he is my doctor.

Dr. Truscello was great. Took his time talking with me and seemed genuinely interested in helping with my feet issues. My only note was that he suggested some imaging that no one discussed with me at checkout and when I called to follow up on the status I was told there was nothing in my chart about it being done. It's not a big deal and we will discuss it at my next appointment, just slightly frustrating. Overall I'd still highly recommend him.
